Who is Jon Rose?

   Jon Rose is a creative currently attending the University of Central Florida, working with their Athletics Photography team. Jon is incredibly passionate about sports photography, graphic design, and social media content creation.

​   Jon grew up minutes away from Gillette Stadium and played sports since elementary school. He formed a major love for sports and a love of the sports world as a whole. At the same time, Jon has always loved art. He was always obsessed with the process of how all sorts of media was created and consumed. 

​

   These passions eventually connected, and Jon has been creating sports media since 2021, when he joined his high school's newspaper publication. Through that, Jon has won multiple awards for photography, most notably the Florida Student Photojournalist of The Year award from the Florida Scholastic Press Association.

​

   Jon is coming from his freshman year working with UWF's athletic teams as a student, and is now working as an intern on the UCF Photo team. Jon has also had some exciting freelance opportunities with organizations such as the Texas Longhorns, the Oklahoma Sooners, NASCAR Regional, the Alabama Crimson Tide and more. 

 

   Jon is dedicated and passionate about telling stories and creating excitement for sports through his work. He is ready for whatever opportunity comes next.
